Noa Sagie
was born and raised in Kfar Biyalik, a small agriculture town in northern Israel. she trained with the "Haia Tzur School for
Contemporary Dance" and graduated from the "Reut School of The Arts" in Haifa.
At 18, Noa was recruited to the IDF, Israel Defense Force, where she proudly served for two years. She was accepted to the internationally acclaimed Alvin Ailey Dance School in New York City and was a recipient of the L.C.U Foundation Scholarship. As a dancer she has worked with Jerboa Dance Company, Bernier Dance, High Frequency Wavelength Dance Company, 277danceproject, Dana Salisbury, I-Danse and Gabrielle Lansner & Company.
Sagie's work has been presented at the Ailey Citigroup Theater,
West Side Dance Project, Judson Church, Abrons Art Center, EyeBlink Production, Dumbo Dance Festival, American Dance Guild Festival and the 13th Annual International Fringe Festival.
In 2010 Noa was a recipient of the Thanatopolis award in the performance category from the I-Park Foundation and later participated at the Environmental Residency in 2011. Currently Noa preparing to go on tour with her newest site specific Dance-Theater production "The Meal - הארוחה", after a successful premier at Nisui Kelim 8 festival in Tel-Aviv and Zikkit Cultural Center in Tefen, ISRAEL.
